Biography

Bernard Depaepe joined Across in January 2008, where he focuses on customer-centric strategy. His key expertise areas include:

  • Marketing mix assessment: using a bespoke framework, Bernard has run over 25 projects in this space in more than 8 countries, involving over 1500 respondents (GPs and specialists). The Across Health marketing mix programme uniquely quantifies the relative importance of online and offline promotional and educational communication channels as well as 3rd party channels. Last but not least, the relative impact of the various stakeholders is visualized.
  • CRM, eBusiness and customer centricity: Bernard supports several regional eCRM/eBusiness teams in the implementation of their processes and change management projects. Also, he has run several ‘as-is assignments’ in the field of CRM and eBusiness readiness, customer centricity assessments and customer loyalty (including NPS).
  • Business intelligence: thanks to Bernard’s hands-on market research expertise, his cross-industry scope and his IMSHealth background, he is extremely well-positioned to support local and regional marketing and business intelligence teams in areas like customer analytics, market research, competitive intelligence, marketing effectiveness and multichannel SFE projects.

Before joining Across, Bernard worked at IMS Health, where he obtained a broad experience in the area of marketing effectiveness (ME) and sales force effectiveness (SFE) at local, European and global level. As part of these engagements, he personally trained numerous sales force teams and marketers to boost the success of these new ME & SFE initiatives.

With over 12 years of expertise within the pharmaceutical industry and his broad range of expertise in several domains, Bernard is uniquely qualified to help customers solve the new business model puzzle.

Bernard has 2 children and in his spare time he runs a gallery focused on Australian and Belgian contemporary art, together with his wife.
