Biography
Carlo (°1963) joined Across Health Netherlands in January 2010 as Sr. Management Consultant and as such responsible for several of Across’ Dutch accounts. Carlo has 23 years of pharmaceutical marketing communication experience through his activities in large publishing companies like Reed Business (Elsevier Gezondheidszorg) and Reed Elsevier (Excerpta Medica Medical Communications). He also worked at several CME-companies where he was responsible for concepting and sales of new CME-programs. Pfizer, AstraZeneca, Merck Sharp & Dohme, Schering-Plough and several other pharmaceutical companies are part of his large network. Building and maintaining long term client relationships and a lot of creativity are his strong assets and through this he has been able to create some innovative and successful projects together with his accounts.
In 2005 he was involved in the implementation and sales of the innovative HealthDirect platforms Cardiology, Diabetes and Neurology (on- and offline) at Elsevier Gezondheidszorg. Composing marketing communication plans, combined with the launch of accreditated e-learning, WebTV productions and e-interviews with KOL’s, made this a fast growing and successful publishing project.
Through his contacts within the KNMG (Dutch Doctors Society) the largest Dutch journal: Medisch Contact and website www.artsennet.nl, returned to Reed Business.
