Biography
Lisa (°1966) has over 15 years experience in market strategy development and marketing in Europe and the US. With experience as both a strategy consultant and as an EMEA marketing manager, she is fully conversant not only with strategy development in the executive suite but also with the practicalities of implementation in both pan-European and American multi-national environments.
She spent ten years in strategy consulting working for Monitor Group in Cambridge, New York, and Amsterdam. Early in her career she provided the competitive and market analytical support to strategy projects for large multinational clients which employed the principles of Michael Porter’s Competitive Strategy. Later the projects she managed focused on deploying Monitor’s cutting-edge approaches to customer insight, market research and customer segmentation. Additionally, she was responsible for capturing these techniques and applying them into innovative learning and development programs for colleagues and clients. As a consultant Lisa worked on a wide variety of projects, including the area of Patient Compliance.
More recently, Lisa worked as EMEA marketing manager for UPS in the team that built up (e)CRM marketing capabilities for Europe. There she had responsibility for developing European strategy and tactics for customer acquisition and deploying them on a pan-European level.
Lisa holds a university degree in Economics and Politics from Williams College and an MBA from the Vlerick Management School.
