Biography

Tom Van den Bulck (°1973) is a CRM, Project and Communications Manager for Across. Tom holds a master degree in Germanic Languages and a teacher’s certificate both obtained at the University of Antwerp. Tom also holds a certificate in project management.

Prior to joining Across, Tom has worked as CRM Manager for Organon BioSciences and as manager and senior consultant for PricewaterhouseCoopers, IBM and Deloitte. At Organon Tom was responsible for all multichannel initiatives (eDetailing, marketing mix), for the local application of the global Xlence CRM Program, operational management of the CRM database, providing best-in-class advice in the areas of Sales Force and Marketing Effectiveness, segmentation and targeting, and internal and external communication.

Prior to joining Organon, Tom has worked as Manager and Senior Consultant for PriceWaterhouseCoopers, IBM and Deloitte on local and international CRM projects for companies operating mainly in the Pharmaceutical and Financial Services industry. As external consultant, Tom played a crucial role in the strategic and operational roll-out of Organon’s global CRM program. Tom is also a certified Siebel consultant. He has a very deep technical and functional knowledge of Siebel’s ePharma and Financial Services vertical. As a consultant, Tom has managed TATV (Touring Assurances/Verzekeringen) and acted as developer or team lead on Siebel projects for Boehringer Ingelheim, Dresdner Bank, Essent, Ethias and Interpolis.

Due to his consulting and manager’s background, Tom gained a profound experience in managing complex CRM projects both from a strategic and operational point of view. In the course of his career Tom has also acquired a deep understanding of the particularities of the pharmaceutical industry.
