Biography
Wouter Hylarides (°1978) studied Economics and Law at the University of Utrecht. He quickly made the switch from the legal playing field to the pharmaceutical industry. As a sales representative for Wyeth Pharmaceuticals, he gained insights into the world of psychiatry and rheumatic diseases, as well as the ins and outs of pharmaceutical selling. He continued his career as a consultant at a leading market research company specialized in Life Sciences. This is where he enters the world of Across Health.
Over the years, Wouter has developed a deep knowledge and passion for pharmaceutical sales and marketing, and the healthcare industry. In addition, he has received extensive medical and marketing training in relation to healthcare. His background in pharma market research enables him to understand marketing issues within the pharmaceutical industry. Furthermore he has developed strong project management skills.
At Across Health, he blends this knowledge and experience with his in-depth understanding of the use of CRM in pharmaceutical selling, a strong interest in the uses of innovative channels, customer-centric approaches and social media, and last but not least, a focus on new business models in pharmaceuticals.
In his spare time Wouter likes to hit a ball with hockey or golf. In summertime, he prefers sailing with strong winds and sun.
