Biography
Delphine Hajaji (°1980) joined Across in 2008 as consultant and expert in the field of organizational change. Prior to joining Across, Delphine was involved with the development and implementation of organizational strategies in different companies. While she explored the universe of organizational design, Delphine kept a strong focus on the principles of benefit management and change management.
At Across Delphine has been working for both international and Belgian companies, specializing in the transformation of IT departments, positioning of IT, IT culture, and human resources management. Delphine has also been occupied with the internal marketing of IT towards executive committees and internal IT customers.
In July 2008, Delphine graduated from Vlerick Leuven Ghent Management School with an MBA for her project on the opportunities for IT in an HR-environment. She additionally holds a Master’s degree in contemporary history and communication management. Delphine began her career as researcher on industrial and psychiatric history at Ghent University. She later worked for the Kortrijk Entrepreneurial Center (Ondernemerscentrum) where she assisted in creating the strategy for attracting starting entrepreneurs and young graduates to the city of Kortrijk. Delphine was also involved in projects for Leiedal, the inter-municipal organization of the Kortrijk region, where she acted as project manager both for the elaboration of its vision and mission and for its six-year strategic plan.
Delphine's passion for business innovation isn't limited to her study and work. In 2006 she was one of the winners of 'Winter Academy', a 4-day seminar organized by Flanders DC and the Vlerick Leuven Ghent Management School, where 24 young candidates worked on innovation and entrepreneurial excellence.
Delphine spends much of her free time writing, and has won several writing awards, including the "Vlaamse Scriptieprijs" (Flemish Thesis Award). She also has an appreciation for 15th to 19th century painting and enjoys a broad range of contemporary literature: from Milan Kundera, Toon Tellegen and Paulo Coelho, to Jim Collins and Donald Trump.
