Biography
Luc Osselaer (°1964) is co-founder of Across and serves as its chairman. A serial entrepreneur, he also founded e-COM Interactive and Ellips Communications, which later became Porter Novelli - a multinational PR group. In parallel, Luc has also been Vice-President Communications and Investor Relations for ARINSO International (Euronext Brussels), an international powerhouse in HR Services.
Previously, he was management consultant at the Vlerick Management School (Gent University). He also served as Communications Director at IMS Health (NYSE: RX), a global leader in healthcare market information, and was a trusted advisor to several leading corporations: Allen&Overy (international law firm), Telindus/Belgacom (ICT), The Capital Markets Company (IT) and Devgen (biotechnology).
Luc has extensive experience in corporate reputation management, with a particular focus on investor relations. He played a key role in the Initial Public Offerings of companies such as ARINSO International (2000), Devgen (2005), Zetes (2005) and Porthus (2006). He has represented a number of companies during mergers and acquisitions, vendors and buyers alike. Over the past 15 years, he has coached many CEOs and Executive Managers of public companies in their communication with internal and external target audiences.
For Arcelor-Mittal, the world's largest steel producer, Luc is a regular speaker and moderator for their conferences across Europe. His favorite topics are Business Strategy, Reputation Management and Investor Relations.
