Biography

Sophie Lismonde (°1970) joined Across as Senior Advisor in business-IT alignment, change management and knowledge management. She has hands-on experience in implementing new technology in business environments.  Sophie holds a Master’s degree in organizational psychology and an additional Master in media and information management. Over the years she has also completed a number of specialized courses in e-marketing.

Sophie started her professional activities in external relations and communications at Imec. She later joined Compaq Computers as an electronic marketing communication manager where she was responsible for Compaq’s first sites.

Sophie then worked for eight years at Dexia Insurance Services where she managed the internet/intranet team. She was responsible for developing their first intranet and internet strategy. During her time at Dexia she translated DIS strategy into the implementation of new technologies within the organization. Throughout her career she has gained an in-depth understanding of how businesses are run and how business and IT should work together.

In her spare time Sophie enjoys adventure both under water and in the sky sailing a catamaran, scuba diving and climbing. She is passionate about French literature and TV soap series (from a psychological perspective… of course)
