Bernard Depaepe joined Across in January 2008. With his broad experience in salesforce effectiveness (SFE) projects at local, European and global level, he is ideally suited to help healthcare clients move to the next stage in commercial excellence, by introducing innovative, customer-oriented approaches.
Before joining Across, Bernard worked at IMS Health, where he started his career with the introduction of new segmentation and targeting solutions to multiple Belgian pharma companies. As part of these engagements, he personally trained numerous salesforce teams to augment the success of these new SFE initiatives, ensuring optimum change management.
He subsequently was promoted to the role of SFE Sales Director in Europe, leading local SFE consultants and sales specialists in helping clients achieve their SFE project milestones.
Finally, as European Account Director, Bernard supported pharma companies in a broad range of areas, including Marketing and Sales optimization projects at European and global level.
During his career, Bernard received two important awards from IMS European and Global senior executives for his sense of ownership, his service and customer orientation, and his solution-focused approach.
Before his career at IMS Health, Bernard worked as a credit analyst advisor at KBC Bank and as a sales representative for Bayer Animal Health. He has a Master's Degree in Science (Chemical and Biochemical Engineering) and a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture.
Bernard has 2 children and, together with his wife, runs a gallery focused on Australian and Belgian contemporary art.
