Peter (°1964) joined Across in February 2008. Owner of a creatively wandering mind, Peter’s ambition at Across is to infuse the many innovative client solutions with appropriate doses of extra creativity – be it verbal or graphic. As a designer-slash-copywriter, he prefers to blend the worlds of words and of images – of writing/concepting and of designing/animating. Creativity has no boundaries. Or at least Peter refuses to sacrifice one for the other.
Before joining Across, he worked for Janssen Pharmaceutica in Beerse, where he headed the Creative Communication department - an internal design team providing hands-on support for communications in CRM, marketing & sales, corporate, HR, IT and countless projects and departments. As firm advocates of design quality as a driver for communication success - and hence business success - this renowned team within Janssen built a massively diverse portfolio in creative print, web and multimedia support, with clients from all around J&J including Janssen-Cilag, J&JPRD, Tibotec, J&J EMEA.
From his 8 years at J&J, Peter brings a wide experience in supporting – and complementing - healthcare business communicators. Previous to his work for J&J, Peter worked for Belgian television and for international design & print company Blondé. He started out his career as a writer and designer for various magazines.
Peter holds university degrees in Languages (Dutch/English) and in Media & Information Sciences, and was additionally schooled at the Academy of Visual Arts, Mortsel.
