Born in Kent, England, Sybylla moved to Belgium in 2001, initially combining her career as opera singer with that of freelance translator, editor and copywriter working for a number of European television/video production houses and magazine publications. Her passion for writing, however, combined with the desire to work full time in a motivating, commercial environment, led Sybylla, in 2006, to join the interactive communications team at ONE Agency as Copywriter/Account Manager. At ONE Agency she was responsible for internal PR as well as on- and offline copywriting for clients including EBAA, ArcelorMittal and Agfa Graphics. She also acted as Account Manager for clients including RTBF, Test-Aankoop, Gouden Gids and Van Breda International.
At Mach Media, Sybylla is able to satisfy her penchant for publishing as Assistant Editor of FlyCorporate Magazine and B2B copywriter for a host of multinationals.
In her spare time Sybylla enjoys serving as English Language and repertoire consultant to singing students at the Conservatoire royal de Bruxelles and can still occasionally be seen and heard in concert herself.
