Responsibilities
• Identify burning platform for integrated patient CRM & PR activities as part of the overall marketing or brand plan
• Develop integrated consumer strategies and tactics to maximize the value of patient/consumer-centric approaches
• Oversee implementation of selected strategies or pilots
• Measure and communicate ROI and effectiveness of programs
• Support and build relationships with patient support organizations.
• Solid insight into the regulations around patient communications
• Maintain thought leadership in this discipline
Qualifications
• 5+ years of consumer CRM/PR experience, ideally in a marketing environment and in healthcare (pharmaceuticals, devices or OTC) or FMCG -- at an international level
• Alternatively, 5+ years experience as a consultant/agency representative to these industries
• Experience in patient compliance tools, patient registries or databases, patient advocacy group strategies, patient-to-physician strategies and consumer-centric campaign management
• Solid insight into the opportunities of Web 2.0 for consumer strategies and in the key role of the Internet in general for this target audience
• OTC expertise is an asset
• IT affinity and PR expertise
• Strong structured problem solving abilities and intellectual curiosity
• Comfortable working at board and senior management levels.
• Superior communication, negotiation and presentation skills, with a proven ability to influence at all organizational levels
• Fluent in English and at least one other European language.
• University graduate; MBA preferred
• Highly motivated and self-directed individual
• Outstanding team player and leader
• Ideally based in Belgium, Holland, UK or Germany; willing to travel within Europe
